Home Worship Service
February 22, 2026
Welcome! We're so glad you found your way here to use the Worship at Home guide. We always understand if you can't make it to church - whether it's sickness, weather, or anything else. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV) tells us:
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Whoever the spiritual leader of your household is, lead your family through this guide by simply scrolling down through it, pausing at each section of the Order of Worship, just as we would in-person. We pray you will be blessed through this and we thank you for worshipping with us in this way. We hope to see you soon!

Call to Worship
Take a moment to read the following call to worship out loud from Psalm 118:8-14
“It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. 9 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes. 10 All the nations surrounded me, but in the name of the Lord I cut them down. 11 They surrounded me on every side, but in the name of the Lord I cut them down. 12 They swarmed around me like bees, but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns; in the name of the Lord I cut them down. 13 I was pushed back and about to fall, but the Lord helped me. 14 The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.”
Hymn No. 209 - "Blest Be the Tie That BInds"
Offering
Locate a bowl or a plate from your home and pass it around among anyone present. While it may take some time for that collection to make it to church, pray that God would bless the finances of our church - that we may use all that we have and all that we have for Him and His glory.
Hymn No. 206 - "The Church's One Foundation"

Closing
At this point, the service would normally conclude. Because of the "small group" nature of worshipping at home, it is fitting to enter into a time of discussion. Please take some time to answer the following questions as a group:
1. Where have you seen, or personally experienced, hostility coming from inside of the Church? What effect did that have on you or others?
2. How have you experienced hostility from outside of the Church that impacted your ability or desire to share the Gospel? What was your reaction to that?

Benediction
Take a moment to read the following benediction out loud from Romans 15:13:
“13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
