We’re Always Excited to Welcome New Visitors

welcome500At Bridgeville, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to either our 8:00 or 10:30 a.m. service.

Our church is located at 5971 Division Highway Narvon, and parking is located behind the church. If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the door. We like to keep them free for visitors and people who need assistance.

Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get his approval--that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. While a few people in the church wear ties, others like to remind them that Jesus never wore a tie. Shorts are as welcome as suits, and you'll see both.

When you walk in, find one of our greeters and introduce yourself. They're usually stationed right inside the main entrance from the carport, and they'll show you where everything is. They'll help you find the nursery and Sunday school rooms if you have kids. Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms, sanctuary and fellowship area. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.

We encourage you to come to our 10:30 service a little early. Why? Because we always have coffee and refreshments available in our fellowship hall. Plus it is a great time to meet some of our members.

During each service we try to dedicate a "greeting time" A time where you can be welcomed and introduced to the member's of our church. We hope to make your visit as welcoming as possible.

Our 8:00 am service is our traditional service and is designed for those who love to celebrate God by the singing of his hymns. A warm welcoming family awaits you as well.

Sunday School starts at 9:00 am and is our discipleship training. With classes for all ages you will sure to find the class that is right for you. We offer classes for all ages, toddler to retirement age. Check out our selection of Sunday School classes under the Sunday School tab.

After Sunday School around 10:00 am we set a side a half hour for a time of greeting and fellowship. We always have coffee and light refreshments available too. This is a great time for our attendees to connect with others within our church and catch up on the weeks events. Before moving ahead with our 10:30 am service.

Our 10:30 am service is known as our blended service. What that means is this service offers a mix of traditional hymns. As well as more contemporary worship. (Think WJTL or Word FM).

Each service will feature a message based purely on the Bible and led by the Holy Spirit. If you would like a taste we post every sermon online the following week right here on our website. Check it out!

Both services will spend intentional time in prayer. As well as the reading of his word.

We also offer an opportunity in each service to give a portion of what God has blessed you with back to his church.

Feel free to try any or even better all of our Sunday morning services.

We promise you will not regret it.
